Meet Our Chimney Technicians
Patrick Durkan, Owner
Patrick Durkan was born in County Meath, Ireland. moved to Delaware and founded Chim-Guard Chimney Sweeps in 1984. He trains each employee and goes to the sites himself. He loves meeting customers and putting his personal attention to each job.
Patrick and his wife Maire run the business together, with the help of their children; altogether the Durkans’ are a happy family of 11!
Stephen, Technician
Stephen was born in Elkton, MD where he spent his days working hard on his family farm. He came to Chim Guard eager to learn where he was taught the ways of the business by Patrick himself. A professional in his field, Stephen has become part of the Durkan family and brings the same personal touch to each customer he meets.
